Linksys SPA962 Security

I'm looking for a little clarification on if / when 3CX will be compatible with the Linksys SPA962 phones in terms of secure communication between the handsets and the 3CX server. Am I missing something in terms of setup and it's already supported?

The reason I ask is I have a Public IP mapped to the internal IP of our 3cx server and would like to prevent sip tapping as much as possible.

HI Matt,

you have several ways to secure your 3Cx or your Phones :

- Firewall (port : proxy sip and proxy rtp , Nat ip, eg...),
- A security certificat (ssip and srtp) between 3cx and phones,
- Mac adress of the phones,
- Openvpn between phones and 3CX,
- Ipsec between 3cx and Provider,
- Tunnel (if supported in phones)
- eg...

you can combine most of them !
