local 3CX v20 - SNOM update not working

I have a number of local 3CX servers (Windows Pro 11). They are not able to update the SNOM D785 phones. I think it is local IP rather than the internet name - xxx.tx.3cx.us. How do I fix that?

You need to use FQDN in V20 - it has become mandatory. https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/split-dns-on-prem/

While most phones will work in IP mode too, the Snoms specifically need FQDN to upgrade locally.

So either set up your Split DNS (which again is a V20 requirement) or upgrade them manually.
