Lock end-user to change his Extension status

Is it possible to lock end-user to change his Extension status?

It's pretty annoying when an end-user changes an import extension status like reception, forgets or leaves it there unchanged and cause trouble to the company.

As far as i know there is no way to prohibit a user to change the status of an extension they have acces to.

Use auto-switch on the extension to make sure it goes back to its schedule at some point?
