Looking for advice on best cheapo phone for 3cx...

I'm replacing a whole bunch of polycom vvx phones. basically having nothing but problems with them while yealinks are flawless when I swap them out. 'legacy' phones as far as 3cx is concerned so not really worth trying to get a fix.

I have some needs here, mainly I need 3 shared parking buttons and at least 1 additional button to speed dial overhead pager.

The yealink t41s/t42s are leading contenders at 75-85 with power supplies primarily because they have that 'more' button for some additional BLF keys on other pages.

Looking at the grandstreams in this price range/feature set and it looks like they lack the 'more' or next page option so I'd have to move up to higher end phones to get enough buttons. I don't have any grandstreams to compare though.

Willing to look at other brands as well but would like some suggestions on proven units.

I'd stick with Yealink's. It seems Grandstream's relationship with 3cx is on again/off again. Who knows when they'll pull support on them again.

I almost always buy my phones used on eBay. I have saved a ton that way.

If I were you then stick with Yealink.
Grandstream hardware/firmware sucks.
But that is my opinion.

complex1 - been on Grandstream 2130/40/60 for last 3 years and haven't had any monumental issues. small issues when they were "not 3cx friendly" - but nothing over last few months. solid device.
I agree Yealink is superior - but OP asked for cheap - and Grandstream is just that. The Fanvil series could work as well. The x4 isn't much more expensive than the GS2130 if I recall.

Those grandstream 2130/40/60 aren't really cheap enough to be interesting at $60/$73/$88 vs the yealinks which look and feel nicer :/

I think I'll stick to the yealinks for now.

+1 on the Yealinks, they are very reliable models.

If you buy cheap you get cheap. Not naming any names but I have known a few certain "cheap" brands failing consistently on sites and I can only guess it is due to poor hardware.

Keep faith with your customers and pay a little extra for Yealinks.

Yealink or snoms are what I have had the best experience with and would feel comfortable recommending out of the "preferred" range.

If we want a good phone we use Yealink.
If you want a cheap phone - use softphone.
