Hello,
unfortunately, we repeatedly have the problem that some of our users are very creative with call forwarding. For example, some enter the full DID as the forwarding destination to a colleague. If that colleague then goes on vacation and forwards again to the first colleague, we have a loop via the trunk. There are also much more complex loops in this constellation. So it would be good if 3cx recognized that a call coming in from the provider via the trunk originated from it itself. In other words, loop detection for trunks. Does that already exist? Is it possible? Or does it perhaps just need to be activated?

As a first step, you might consider modifying your outbound rules to block attempts to dial (or forward). numbers to the full DID number.

Other than that, you would have to block/reroute incoming calls, based on caller ID. More specifically, your caller ID (all your DID numbers).
