With the client-side 3CX-Bitrix24 integration, it is possible to create a new lead, not a new contact upon any unknown incoming call. This behavior better corresponds to the idea and implementation of leads in Bitrix24 than any other solution (leads can easily be converted to companies and/or contacts and deals). In order to make Bitrix24 create new leads upon incoming calls we had to modify C# scripts of the client-side 3CX integration and to push them from 3CX server to clients.
With the server-side integration, upon incoming call we can only get a link to an existing contact, nothing else. Thus, it will be necessary for CRM users to create leads manually. This is a drastically disappointing loss of functionality. CRM users MUST have an option of registering incoming calls as new leads, otherwise integration is almost useless. Can it be implemented with the current version of server-side integration? If switching from the client-side integration to the server-side one lead to degradation of functionality, will this feature be ever restored?
