Unsupported MakeCall not working on Maxwell-Basic-D725E9

Dear all,

We are using like 20+ Maxwell-Basic-D725E9 phones and just started with 3CX Phonesystem 18.0 Update 2 (Build 307). We want to control de Maxwell phone from the 3CX desktop app but the phone is not shown in the list of connected apps.

It is known that this phone is not supported, however we would still like to verify if at least only the Make Call is possible, that is the only function we would really like to use.

Hi Jef,

I would not really expect unsupported phones to be able to use any of those features.

The "3CX Desktop App" cannot perform MakeCall to devices.

The older "3CX Phone for Windows" client might be able to do it if you login in to your extension, then switch it to CTI mode.

Again, no guarantees here but you can go ahead and try it.
