Manage individual holidays

Good evening everyone, I'm struggling a bit to manage the holiday for the users
I have my trunk that goes to an IVR with his holidays and prompt configured
The issue is that I can't find a proper way to manage individual users holidays:
-if he sets away he will come back online the next day, unless I go and manually remove the flag for availability during office hours (and then I need to add it again when he comes back)
-I even tried creating a department with eternal holidays where I move the user in holiday but this doesn't work at all, he's still available (maybe because I set the holiday as 2020-2040)

I don't know if I'm missing something incredibly stupid, I just want to allow users to go out some days and set themselves as off/on holiday or whatever doesn't show them available

Hi Alphabetic, thanks for your reply
I tried with that aswell, but I have 2 issues:
-it supports only 1,2,7 days
-apparently I can only do it on myself and not on other users. In this case there is a specific user that would like to manage it for the company
