Unsupported Manually setup Snom PA1 with v18?

Since only local LAN is supported I guess for provisioning in v18 and I don't want to pay $400/m for an azure virtual gateway, how do I manually set these devices up to use an SBC or STUN?

Actually @beezsk is right, the Snom PA1 from v18 onwards is only supported in a LAN configuration:

That said, as this is mostly due to do with limitations in the ciphers being used, theoretically it could work if you download the configuration manually and upload it to the device. Something similar was discussed here back when it was supported for remote configuration: https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/provisioning-snom-pa1-problem.58820/ . Even if this does work, it would also mean that you will not be able to reprovision the device via 3CX, upgrade it's firmware, or perform any tasks that rely on https communication whatsoever.

I have to make it abundantly clear that you WILL be engaging an unsupported configuration and WILL be voiding support for any scenario involving this configuration.

Yes that's fine, there's only two of these devices so if I need to support them out of band I'll just make sure its documented.
Does anyone have a guide on how to manually configure one of these things so it registers in 3CX? Where do I download the config from in the 3CX console?

its not supported but you can try setting the sip server as the 3cx SBC and all the other info and see if it works

1. Go to the extension provisioning tab
2. Copy the provisioning Link you see there into your browser
3. append /cfg{MAC of device} to the link and press enter (without the brackets of course)
eg. https://mycompany.3cx.com:5001/provisioning/xxxxxxxxxx/cfgEC487DA901F0
4. A file called cfgEC487DA901F0 will now be downloaded and you can upload this in the device
5. Login to the device and go to Advanced Settings >> Update >> Upload Setting File Manually

Glad to help! Keep note of these instructions in case you make changes to the extension in 3CX, so you can upload a fresh config to the device. It will not be able to auto provision itself.
