Mass change of templates

I want to confirm this will work before trying it in my lab and production environments.

I want to mass change all the templates used by certain model of phone in a customer environment. Is this as easy as doing an export of all those users to CSV, updating the PhoneTemplate14 column in the CSV sheet to match my new template name and re-importing?

Hi @Chris A,

In theory yes this can work, but you must first delete the existing extensions before importing the new ones, otherwise the import will fail.

Make sure to have a backup before starting the whole process in case you need to recover if something unwanted happens.
