Is there a way to send a mass message to everyone in the directory?

Why I am asking is we use the VOIP as a way to comunicate amongst Ham Radio Operators who are members of an emergency comunications group. And I was wondering if there was a way to send like a recorded message to everyone, about updates to an emergency situation, updates as to our activation status, etc.

or to a list of external numbers?

if external #'s NCH has a addon to do this. Mass outgoing calls.

What I meant is we use the VOIP Phone, so we are not tieing up the airwaves in the event of an emergency.

And I meant the 3cx exts.

what is the call scenario and what is not available in case when you are using 3CX PBX?

The scenario would be something similar to the following pre-recorded message:

"this is IRESC Incident Command in the wake of the Haiti earthquake, we are now at level red. All available operators are requested to check into the system for further instructions or reprt any emergency comunications to the NCO imediately."

or....

"This is an update on the chile incident......"

Everyone who has an extension would hear that message if they answer the phone, or it would be saved to their voicemail, so they can listen to it as soon as they log into the softphone or system.

Ok.
So, your initial question was how to deliver some message to the manageable list of recepients and "Ham Radio Operators" was just a reference to made is more solid, isn't it?

HTTP API can initiate calls from the extension. The extension can provide message.
