Dears,

I have a debian installation of 3CX v18.0 Build 314 in my HQ and a windows installation of 3CX v18.0 Build 315 in my branch.

I have successfully setup the Master - Slave connection, the problem is that I can receive calls from branch to HQ but when calling from HQ to branch I get the following error

Call or Registration to 1111@(Ln.10001@NPGCI_NPGTG) has failed. 0.0.0.0 replied: 408 Request Timeout; internal

Edit: I also got this error from activity logs

Call to T:Line:10001>>1111@[Dev:sip:[email protected]:22668;rinstance=1eb9b81dc3d18f12] from L:14499.1[Extn:1211] failed, cause: Cause: 408 Request Timeout/INVITE from local

Please Advise

Which of the two is the Master and which one is the Slave? Do you have tunnel enabled for this bridge?

It would seem that the HQ PBX is essentially not receiving a response from anywhere when attempting to place the call. Could you check the Outbound Rules and make sure the correct one is being matched for the call? Are you by any chance sending these calls through a separate SIP Trunk by accident? You might want to use a prefix for the Bridge's outbound rule and move that outbound rule to the top of the list then try again.

Hello,

After several tests, the issue was resolved after enabling Remote PBX uses Tunnel Connection

Regards

Glad to hear you got this sorted though do bear in mind that the problem you had may have been related to firewall configuration from the sounds of it.

In any case, I'd actually recommend sticking with the tunnel connection since you also get an extra layer of security so all's good.

Don't hesitate to start a new thread should anything else come up!
