Max Extension Length

Hi,

Seems like you can only have extension lengths of 4 digits. Is there a way to increase this to perhaps 11.

Nope cannot extend it beyond that at the moment. 11 digits is not doable.

Why someone would need such long extension numbers? 11 digits is enough for international dial.

If you have 11 digits you can mask the existing phone numbers (pstn and mobile), by doing that you do not have to dial an extension but you just dial the mobile and the system will sort out the routing etc.

Some people like that.

Appart from that you can become your "own look a like" telco. I can see a few reasons why people would want that, but to be honest why bother really.

Hi,

I actually need 10 digits, due to an overlapping number range. Calls from Pstn are fwd to these extensions and I would also like to keep the existing numbers I already have.
Duplicates are not allowed.
I am testing Asterisknow and am able to use long extension numbers. I'll let you know how I go.
