Hello,
i have at a customers site a 3CX install without any problems for several years now.
we are registering with IP dect blade's to 3CX from 3 different site's without any problem (over VPN).
Since the last update (last week 18.0.8.917) we run into some issue's with the registrations with 1 of the IP dect blade's.
we can only register a maximum of 50 extentions, all other won't register. the registrations are all coming from the same ip address as the blade has only 1 ip address. we are just registering on port 5060 with sip credentials, so there is no autoprovisioning involved.
i have dived into the problem and can see with wireshark that the 3CX is only responding to the first 50 registration requests and the registration request of the 51'th extention is NOT being answered (this is from a trace on the PBX itself).
at first we looked at the DECT blade but all register packets are coming in fine to 3CX, 3CX just does not respond to those registration request. All other 50 request 3CX is handling fine.
what i did was restore a backup with version 18.0.7.312 and everything is working perfect now, proving it is a 3CX issue. But i can't update anymore now ...
i submitted a support case, to know if anything has changed but support won't help me as the blade is not supported. I don't see how supported or not supported has anything to do with this problem as i can clearly prove it is on a SIP level (traces were sent with the case).
i have also looked at the changelog but i can't find anything related to a new maximum of 50 registrations per IP address. the ip address is and was also whitelisted. There is no security setting added related to this
has anyone had this problem also recently or does anyone know something about this (limitation) ?
kind regards,
Mathias
