I've set up extensions without voicemail for the classroom phones and separate extensions with voicemail for each teacher since several classrooms are shared among multiple teachers. Is there a way to have multiple extensions show a MWI on the same phone? Or a way to assign the MWI of an extension with voicemail to an extension without? It doesn't look like I can assign the same phone to multiple extensions.

Otherwise, you can always configure the other accounts manually but it's not supported and can cause many issues.

Even if you went the (unsupported) route of assigning a second extension to a set, many phones require that you choose the one line key that will be monitored for message waiting. In other words, they won't allow the MWI indicator to work across more than one line.

If you do decide to go this way, be certain the phone(s) will support it.

Thanks for the ideas. I will probably just stick with no MWI for teachers. Hotdesking has other drawbacks and I don't really want to go down the unsupported route.
