Microphone not working on Surface Pro 3 Win 10

Has anyone managed to get the mic working on SP3?

I can call fine and hear the other user but they are unable to hear me. Tried different audio settings, rebooting, reinstall. Nothing seems to work. Skype and other call clients work fine with my mic

Hello,

Go to Settings > Audio Options > Audio Devices > Microphone and select the MIC of your device and see if this solves your problem.

I have already tried this. This was the first thing i did.
