Microphone not working

Good day , i have an HP laptop with windows 3cx client version 16.3.0.171 installed . when I call , the microphone shows on the task bar but no audio input .
Teams and skype works fine , I have checked the drivers and it is realtek audio drivers .

what could be the problem , 5 users already encountered the issue and we could not resolve the issue .
I also check windows privacy settings and microphone is allowed

Just to confirm, did you also select the mic inside the 3CX app?



And if you then call *777 can you hear your own voice echo?

I have tested 3cx chrome extension and it works , but windows 3cx web client does not work

Hi Harrison

- If someone calls you, do you hear the ringing and also the voice of the other person? (output basically)

- Have you tried disabling silence detection (in case your mic is too low and it gets cut off as being silent)

- If there is another mic (ie. built in mic) can you try that too?
