So this update that was was released on 4/8 applied overnight and 3CX could not be reached. The services were all started. I removed the update and all is well. Anyone else experience this?
All network card settings were lost and set to DHCP after rebooting the server.
The server is still on internet but all phones are disconnected because the 3cx server has no longer the ip address used by the phones.
Trunks and phones worked again after putting back all settings to static as before.
That update is on the list of ones to be avoided. I keep "hiding" it yet it re-appears every time I check for updates (Win 7 & 8.1). Microsoft really wants to get it on your computer. It has been around for a while.
This is but one of many sites with some not too favourable information on that patch...
