I am looking for suggestions about what types of systems people are putting on-premise 3CX on. New 3CX partner here. We are running an NFR on VMWare internally but I need some sort of small mini pc or appliance-type device to use. I have tried a Call4Tel NX32 but recently spent over 15 hours on the phone with support over a three day period, trying to resolve an issue, which after 30 minutes of use, reappeared, so I am not feeling really confident about those at the moment. However, if someone is using those and having good success, I would love to know more about your experience! Any input is appreciated!

Dell Optiplex Micro PCs are a good choice if you don't need dual NICs. Refurished units are cheap and plentiful. Qotom make a large selection of Micro/Mini PCs with a variety of options.

Protectli makes some solid devices that others here have recommended. I've only deployed 1 so far but haven't had any issues. They have an i3 and i5 model available.

I would consider you deploy your 3CX systems in the cloud.

This way you wont need to buy HW for the PBX, just an SBC and you get more control over the system.
