Hi Everyone,

i am desperate for some assistance.. never seen it before on 3CX.
i completed an installation at a client, they are using a Pro license. The make of phones are Yealinks. When ever any extension transfers a call to any other extension in the office, it shows a missed call from that extension that did the transfer even if the call was answered? The missed call notification only shows when the person who received the transfered call finished talking on the phone. All the extensions are in a Call Queue setup with the longest waiting strategy and also Call back option is enables on the queue advanced options which is offered after 15 seconds timeout. it is very strange!! Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

So... the same extension, is in a queue and getting the transferred calls, or are there, by chance, two line keys on the set? What model Yealinks are you using? Is firmware the same, on the sets, as the other sites, where this is not happening?

Hi leejor, they are in the same queue and the phones are
SIP-T40G76.83.0.55
All using the same firmware.
It is only one site.

The extensions are doing a blind transfer.
The missed call is displayed on the phone that received the transfer.
The Flow is as follows
Incoming call >> Goes to Queue >> Answered by agent >> Transferred to another extension using blind transfer>> Missed call shows on the phone that received the transfer
The Queue is using the longest waiting strategy.

Hello @Coltar

Check the activity log of the PBX and see if there are multiple invites to the extension that receives the transfer. Also the PBX call log could assist you in seeing the calls directed to the extension.
If you are familiar with wireshark you could run a trace and see if the transfer is completed successfully.

The file you shared contains many calls so not sure which one you are referring to but i have deleted the file as it contained a lot of sensitive information that should not be shared in public forums.
I would recommend creating a ticket regarding this with our support department so they can look into the issue in more detail.

What is also really confusing me is that extensions in a Queue never show a missed call but when ever there is a call which is not picked up in a Queue it is regarded as an abandoned call and shows on the wallboard and queue manager interfaces and windows clients.

This is normal as the call is directed to the Queue. The Queue will get an abandoned call but the users extensions will not receive a missed call as the call was directly to their extensions. Clients can see abandoned calls but are different than missed calls.
