Missing Extension

Hi guys,

i could need your help.

One of our employees has stopped working for us.

He had an Snom M65 and of course, i would like to hand this phone out to his following colleague.

But his extension is not listed anymore in the management console, only in the snom master counter.

What can i do "find" his extension in the management console of 3cx?

I know his number because i have his phone with me but somehow, i cant find, therefore not edit, his extension in our system?

Have you gone to the FXS section and chosen the new extension under Advanced >> FXS/DECT >> [the DECT device] >> Extensions in the Management Console?

yes, it is listed there. But not listed anywhere else in the management console.

What is the desired outcome here? You want to reuse the extension or give the new employee a new extension?

exactly, i would like to use this extension to rename it and give the phone, with the extension, of the following colleague after the employee has now finally left the company.

But to rename it, i would have to be able to edit this extension

The extension wasn't deleted but doesn't appear in the Users section?

Are you logging in with the administrator account on the PBX?

Hi @Rmn3,

If you try to add the extension again (the same extension number as before) and it has not been deleted, it will tell you that "Given DN number cannot be used", try and add it with the new name and tell me if it allows it.

The system says, this Extension can not be set, apparently it is still there because i m not able to set the extension again
