Hi there,

i have some curious behaviour with 3 of 20 Clients. There are the Line-Keys missing.(See attached Screenshot).
i deinstalled the client, deleted 3cx Folders in Appdata/Roaming, reinstalled the client and the same.
i compared the config.xml from a working client with the xml from those problematic clients, they arent't different, except for the settings that should be different.

Somebody an idea?9718

And yes, the left is CTI and the right is Softphone. But even if both have the same settings, that does not change anything.

found one more without line-Buttons

new insights : load the config from the user with the missing line-keys in a 3cx-Windows-Client on my Computer and the line-keys are present. So it has nothing to do with the configuration in the 3cx server. The cause must be related to the corresponding client computer. Proposals?

I thought that as with SNOM phones BLT buttons for the line must be empty. So I have removed all entries and restarted the client. But has not changed anything.

Hello @Markus Schröder

When the client is in CTI the line keys should not be present. But when you switch to softphone then the line keys should be visible. If the clients are in softphone mode and the line keys are not visible then if the clients are the same version and they connect to the same PBX then i would assume that the issue has to do with the OS of the system the client is hosted on.
I would recommend making sure that your machine is up to data with Windows updates and that the C++ redistributables are the same as the working pc's.
You could also check the event viewer of Windows for errors regarding the client.

I'm embarrassed, never believe what end users say (suddenly disappeared. My colleague too...). you're right.

That's what happens when two softphone users pass on their "knowledge" to the other (CTI) employees.

-- Please set this Thread to resolved, thx.

Glad to see the you were able to determine the cause of the issue
