Missing Mac Desktop App in 3CX v20 Update

Hello,

We have been using 3CX for many years and most of our devices are now Macs. Since the release of v20, we've encountered an issue where the Mac desktop app is no longer available. The only option now is the PWA (Progressive Web App), but there are limitations that affect our workflow. Specifically, the PWA does not include a separate dialer and notifications for calls, which was a key feature we used with the desktop app.

Is this issue unique to us, or are other users facing the same problem? If so, is there any solution or workaround to restore the Mac desktop app with full functionality?

Looking forward to hearing from others and any guidance on this issue.

The Desktop App was removed since v20 was released a year ago. 3CX has said those who already had it installed should expect it to stop working by April. (I don't recall that specified MacOS vs Windows, I would assume both)
