3CX v20u3 Ent, on prem, 128sc

We just got onboard the 3CX v20 train two nights ago, and it feels like we're already headed towards a derailment. One of the issues that I’m now troubleshooting is in v18 we had 9 Reports configured and scheduled but don't show up anywhere in v20. They were running successfully on v18 using configured intervals prior to the upgrade.

After upgrading to v20, I can’t find where these reports might be. I’ve logged in v20 as the same user (now System Owner) that I created at least one of the reports but when I click on My Reports I get “No Data.“ I also didn’t receive a Daily report this morning which makes me think the reports didn’t get migrated.

I can create a new Report and see it in “My Reports” but I'm still searching for the 9 we had in v18.

Further investigation led me to opening the last config backup from the v18 that we restored into the v20 as part of the upgrade. When I look at the DBTables folder in this zip archive, I see two tables that look like they might have Report-related data. The table “s_reporterconfig.csv” has no data – only column headings, table “s_reportrequest.csv” has some data that looks like the Report config.

I then opened the first v20 config backup that was created overnight and see the same two tables as from the v18 backup, plus an additional table “scheduled_reports.csv.” All three of the tables in the v20 config backup have no data, only column headings.

Any suggestions as to where I might find the reports that should’ve been migrated from the v18 system? If they need to be recreated, then at least I can get the parameters from the v18s' “s_reportrequest.csv.” Having read the numerous feedback on this and other forums, I don't think the v20 reporting capabilities are going to be well received by our Managers.

Hi @EscondidoAdmin - With Version 20, we had a complete redevelopment of our Call Manager and this is key to processing data for the reports. So your v18 reports do not migrate with the upgrade, you will have to recreate them. That being said, please note that the graphical reports are not available yet and the "Team Queue lost calls" and Trunk/DID reports from v18 are also not available. Everything else has been included since update 2!

Have no fear as with the soon-coming Update 5, we are revamping our reporting capabilities with Reporting 2.0 - please take a moment to read this latest blog that highlights the key functionalities included, such as - New CDR Table and new CDR Format, BI-Ready Database Schema and Templates for Grafana and Power Bi!

It’s envisaged that a beta of the new reporting will be available in January 2025. So sit tight, and enjoy the holidays knowing we’re working full steam ahead to deliver Reporting 2.0!
