I purchased services from Telnyn, and SMS works great, but MMS does not work. Images sent to 3Cx Chat are not being received on the MMS Number. How ever I can sent attachments from 3cx web client to the external carrier MMS and they are received. Telnyx reports this is a 3Cx issue, and confirmed the content of the picture sent.

No that is from Android. When I attach a file in the web client only 1 is sent.
When I look at the web chat client, or android chat client it only shows 1 image. When it is received by on the cellular network there are 2.

Hi @pbomboy,

As your findings show, we do in fact only send one. Anything could be happening on the cellular network, I suggest contacting your cell provider to investigate further.

Yes that was my thought. I am testing a different endpoint now. Thanks for your help!

No problem @pbomboy, if you require any assistance or information feel free to open a new thread. With regards to this problem, I'll leave it open so that you can share your findings with regards to your investigation with your provider.

Great, glad that we've managed to discover what the problem was @pbomboy.

Note that we're considering adding a feature to prompt you to automatically resize the images prior to sending. It will most certainly appear in the change logs / blog.
Oh, please do! I'm testing 3CX now, and this is currently the ONLY thing preventing me from actually adopting your system right now. I can *receive* MMS (images) without trouble in my testing, but warned about them being too large with an Error 422, "over 1572864 byte limit" (not sure where that number comes from - I'm using Flowroute, and they say the limit is 750kB).

Regardless of where the limit is, it sure feels like just sizing everything down to 500 or less (or whatever you decide is a good limit) would solve the problem!

Yep, hang in there a bit longer, we are in the process of trying to find a suitable mechanism for all client apps we have.

Excellent news! Though I'd also like to add that I can't always receive incoming images, either: it seems to be highly depending on the sending phone. So we'll definitely need something to catch and scale down incoming MMS, too - or is that on Flowroute or whoever our SIP provider is?
