The webgui allows users to change their mobile number - and allows Hyphens (ie: 480-555-1212). However, when a caller is sent to an extension and then forwarded to the mobile number, the call will fail because there are no outbound routes associated. I thought in the past hyphens were not allowed.
Can these hyphens be stripped somewhere before hitting outbound rules? I've told users to enter hyphens only - but they continue to add them. Most numbers do not change often, but we use a dummy extension for a couple of "On-Call" extensions for some departments and this is how they update who is on call.
