Is there a way to enable a 'line-in' feed for Music on Hold when you are running 3CX as a Hyper-V guest. I'm wondering if it's possible to pass hardware from the server to the guest virtually... has anyone tried this or have any suggestions? Ideally a streaming music service would be best but I don't think this is currently available.

Not likely, Hyper-V does not virtualize audio hardware, so without an audio stack, even more doubtful they'd pass through a line input. Most of the device support is for your RDP sessions.. but not nearly so much. VMWare probably could.. either direct audio or a USB audio device.

As for the steams.. since the VM doesn't have an audio stack it is not clear if that could be used, either. I suppose if you had a virtual audio adapter which runs as a service, you could utilize it.. hmm.

As you'd expect, look around for some royalty-free music to slap down some WAV files.. and drop the "80's porn" as my clients call it.

Not possible - or at least not tested - you need a physical input card.
