Hello

For a specific customer we have configured permanent recording. How can we monitor so that we receive a warning (mail) when recording isn't working any more. (for example if qouta for local/temporary recording is full, or other recording issue)

This is one of the notifications available in the system

Hopefully the answer from @NicholasP_3CX addresses your concern. I've been working with 3CX recordings for nearly 20 years and I cannot think of a time where 3CX recordings didn't work unless: (1) folder permissions where incorrect, or (2) you reached your disk space quota or (3) storage failure -- disk, iSCSI, symbolic link, NAS.

I suppose if you really want to be certain that recordings are being saved, you could look at our 3CX Recording Manager tool. We make it automatic to save recordings in multiple locations -- the original 3CX location and simultaneously at an archive location, and an email repository. We also provide separate retention policies for the original and archived versions of your recordings.

You could also have an automatic email sent to a central repository (SharePoint?).
