Is it possible to connect an IR motion sensor to internal alarm/buzzer with also the ability to switch on alert via the 3cx system to the wireless handset when out of office?
They are not always in the reception and would like the feature of customers walking in reception to trigger sensor then call or page the wireless handset?

You would have to look at the capabilities of the IR motion sensor. Find out what type of messages it can send, then we can advise how we can integrate it into the 3CX system.

Hi thanks for the reply, I've attached the door sensor I was hoping to use. I've read on another thread this could be used to call a specific number with a hookswitch of some sort, however, I do not understand this concept.

I went to the product website and they don't have any information about integrating with this product and because of the time zone difference it will be difficult for me to get more information from the manufacturer. See what you can get about from them and share.
