Hi,All!
I want to move my 3CX System from Windows Machine to Debian. The current version is 15.5 with maintenance.
Is there some procedure or just have to switch off Windows Machine and start Debian Installer on new machine?
I saw this post:

https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/move-license-to-new-server-in-v15.45987/

and "don't want to be stuck with a server that I can't use".

Thank you

Make a full backup including license and FQDN, other valuable data, install on a new server with restoring backup, using the same addresses,
That's all.

Hi igpetkov,

Please note, if you need to install to a new machine without the same IP Local address you need to proceed with different way. Please see below:
- take a backup that does not include FQDN or license (option to untick in the backup popup)
- save the backup zip file on your desktop.
- uninstall this 3cx phone system
- install 3cx phone system on Linux machine
(here's is the link: https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/installing-debian-linux-pbx/#h.8fvtvgaubv22)
- restore when prompted in setup wizard stage.

As per https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/backup-restore-failover/ the local IP address of the PBX is part of the static host data and cannot be changed after the installation process or if you restore to a new machine from a backup file with different IP Address.

Thanks All!
I do this moving soon and share expiruence in forum

Thanks
