Move on-premise V18 to Hosted

Hi,

I am happy with the standard steps involved with the SBC, backing up and restoring the on-premise system, but my concern is that the customer is still running V18. Can I still transfer the V18 over to hosted and then upgrade them to V20, or do they need to be upgraded before the move?
