Hello,

I have an on-prem install I'm trying to migrate to the cloud. The PBXExpress tool does not like my backup file URL The the tool says: "Cannot validate backup URL. Probably backup file is inaccessible" and I cannot continue with the wizard.

I have uploaded and changed the URL from 4 different providers (OneDrive, Sharepoint, Wasabi, and my website hosting). I can paste the URL into web browsers on multiple PCs and download the backup file manually without issue.

No matter what I do, PBXExpress still will not accept it. I have tried multiple browsers (FireFox, Chrome, Edge), private browsing, and clearing the caches.

Has anyone else experienced this error? How have you adjusted your backup URL so the PBXExpress Wizard will accept it?

I did see and follow that. There are no caps, specials, or spaces in the filename, or the entire URL.

Same issue here: Dropbox, OneDrive, GoogleDrive...all are downloadable. No caps in the file name. I even changed the file name to pbxexpress.zip and then pbx.zip. Same error as you. This is not good. Our client can't NOT have phones

I got it to work by refreshing the page after failure. But only DropBox but then it failed "invalid file"....Having to download from our FTP and then upload to DropBox is kind of silly. An extra step. I still can't get it to work with my OneDrive........................Why can't there be an Upload button and just upload from your LOCAL device?
