Moving Custom Templates from Windows to Debian

Several weeks ago we successfully migrated from v15 on Windows to v16 on Debian. Today I realized we are missing the custom phone templates. Can anyone suggest how to copy those over? I have the Windows box available still.

copy the xml files from the windows box (or edit and copy the content from the web ui)
paste the xml files into the debian box (or make a new custom template on the web and paste the contents)

Template isn't OS specific if you are asking that.

What is the location on the debian to paste them into?

Will the existing phones automatically pick up the template once they are copied? Currently they show the first template in the list of default templates.

No, phones won't pick it up since it wasn't there before their creations.

You would need to upload your templates (they can be uploaded directly in MC) and then import your extensions.

If I remember correctly, the location: /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Http/Interface/provisioning/<random>/CustomTemplates

Your previous post reminded me I could import from the GUI, so I did that.

The phones were imported already and working - once the custom templates were imported they did show up on the correct phones. Looks like we are back in business.
