Multi Company Mode and Paging

Good Afternoon 3CX!

We have a 3CX instance we're using in Multi-Company mode. We just upgraded last night from v18 to v20 (Version 20.0 Update 3 (Build 796)). What's interesting is, on v18 I could create paging groups or do Multi-Cast paging. On v20 that appears to be missing.

Is paging not allowed when MCM is in use? I know there's a possible license requirement in the works but I can't seem to find documentation that indicates this is no longer an option. If I disable MCM I can crate a paging group. As soon as I re-enable it the feature is gone.

Anyone have an answer to this yet? We would really like this to be a feature to sell to some of our customers.

Intercom / Paging / PA Announcements are features of dedicated instances.



You may add them from the ring group menu --- ring strategy

Hmmm. We have a Professional, & an Enterprise both in MCM that does not have that available. We have a 3rd server that is NOT in MCM and it has this feature available, and it is also running a Professional License.

As mentioned, dedicated instances, MCM is not a dedicated instance, it is shared with other units.

Hi Alejandro, Will it change in the future? This is a bummer, I moved a few customers to multi tenant and now cannot enable paging, feature they used to have in the past.
Is there a timeline as to when this feature might be available for multi tenants. Thanks

Hi @voice11 good news for you, paging is in sp5 for multi-tenant
