I have a new client, one of their extensions they want to allow multiple users to use the extension ONLY via the 3CX app. The multiple users are people who present fitness classes at the customer's premise and the customer wants all outgoing calls showing the customer DID. All good so far. But when one of these users should no longer have access to the extension (eg they no longer provide services to the customer etc) how can they be disabled/ prevented from using the app on their device? It doesn't seem that the 3CX admin console lists all active devices using the app for a given extension, just a single listing for the app in the phone provisioning tab.

Is there any method to be able to do this?

3CX Version, Professional 18.0.3.461
Server OS, Debian
Is the 3CX Server Hosted and where? Hosted by 3CX Reseller
IP Phone Make/Model/Firmware version, App
Provisioning Method: SBC
Trunk Provider or VoIP Gateway Make/Model, NetVault SIP Trunk
Has the Firewall Checker passed: YES
Are custom Phone Templates being used: NO

This is not possible, I'm afraid. There is no way to disable one user's phone from accusing the 3cx app when all users use the same extension.

You could assign each a unique extension number, but set the outgoing caller ID the same from all. Put them all in a ring group, with a DID rule directing the incoming calls to the ring group, and not one particular extension.. Any internal calls could route to a dummy extension, that forwards to the ring group.
This way you retain control of each extension.

Hi and thanks for the responses. leejor, I will see if your suggestion might be palatable for the customer.
