I think I already know the answer, but I'm hoping someone on the forum can think of a clever solution.
One of our customers runs a call center where they regularly need to ring emergency services.
When the operators are talking to a patient, and decide they need to call an ambulance, they elevate the existing call to a conference call with the emergency number. This way the patient can be part of the conversation with emergency services.
Once the call to emergency services is finished the operators keep the call to the patient open to check in on them until the ambulance arrives.
But, the operators need to be able to make new calls while the original caller is still 'on hold'.
The problem starts when they need to make another conference call to emergency services for another patient.
As soon as they do that, the first patient is also part of that conference call. And, that is obviously a problem.
Anyone have any clever solutions to get around this without making it too complicated?
We'd need operators to be able to part of 2 separate conference calls.
3CX is Linux v16 SP4
Operators all use 3CX Windows client.
