Hello @saint_

Please note that 3CX supports a single account on each phone so if you require multiple accounts on the same device you will have to manually add them as you cannot provision them

Adding another extension to a phone will depend on the phone, but it can be done. Most of all you would need to remove the provisioning link from the phone, to avoid loosing the new configuration.I have 3 accounts on my phone so that Line 1 has CID of XXX, and so on. Keep in mind using multiple accounts on one phone can also cause issues, and 3cx will not support you

@YiannisH_3CX I was thinking about maybe having a customized speed dial for a specific prefix to seize a trunk, but then I realized that there is no overlap dialing on speed dials. That could do the trick. I guess I need to suggest this idea ? I'd assume it will most likely never be approved. It's a failing battle. What is your solution when you have a business running 3 different entities, and need to have different caller ID when dialing out, depending on the entity they are calling from , without of course setting up each desk with 3 phones.

To select a different caller ID depending on the call you need to setup multiple trunks and select the right trunk using outbound rules.
If i remember correctly there is already a feature request regarding this that you can upvote.

If you are using a Windows system you could use an add on from voiptools Caller ID, this would change the CID for the call or calls you need to make, However if you are using a Debian, there are no options for this at this time.
