Hi.. I have a client who has two separate organizations, each organization has two lines (in and out) 1 main number and 1 fax number. I am using CallCentric for the SIP Trunk provider. This customer would like to keep these 2 Orgs separated in 3cx if possible. My question is this: I have an on premise 3cx Server already configured and connected. The customer would like to have the call routing like this:

Inbound:
During business hours, Inbound Caller-A to Org1 would be answered by Operator and send call to any desk with and extension assigned Org1 Group only (setup in 3cx already)
After business hours. Inbound Caller-A to Org1 would be answered by IVR for Org1 with the ability to leave a message or dial extensions etc.. (Pertaining only to Org1)

And the same scenario would apply to Org2.

Outbound
Customer would like the ability to have Org1 caller use only Org1 lines and the same with Org2 callers

I hope this is clear enough, and appreciate any guidance.

Use groups in U7 and above. Configure hours and such.

Then, restrict each trunks (create 2 it's easier) to each group.

It will give it a similar feel to StartUP/SMB.

Hi.. Thanks for the reply, I forgot to mention that we only have one trunk and was hoping to accomplish this somehow the routing if possible.

Yes it's possible with 1 trunk, but you'll need to configure inbound routing in the Webclient, and outbound rules via the management console.

Thing is, that way will allow all users to select all DIDs as caller IDs.

You can't route a DID to a (user) group but you can route it to a ring group, and the DID rule can have custom office hours.

Outbound caller ID can be set by outbound rule (applied to a group) or on each user.

Just have to keep the user group and ring group consistent.

Hi.. Thanks again for your reply, I was wondering what you mean by all users to select all DIDs? Can they do this if thier using deskphones?

You'll need to use outbound rules and prefixes to select outbound IDs using IP Phones.
