Hi,
I have a customer that has multiple businesses at the same location. They have multiple phones lines. Currently they are using multiple incoming rules and trunks and all incoming calls are working and routing properly. The issue is that they want to consolidate all call to a grouped reception, which works, but there is no way of knowing which line they called from, so they can greet the caller appropriately.
Is there a way to have a SIP phone show the trunk name/inbound rule/CID of incoming line to help the receptionist know which line was called?
I was thinking about having multiple extensions on each phone and routing the calls to the different extensions, but I wanted to see if there are any other ideas. Also, for outgoing we have different outbound rules with prefixes to use the different caller ids.
I appreciate the help
Thanks,
Oze.
