Hello.

I recently migrated one of my clients to version 20 of 3CX, and since then I have been receiving negative feedback regarding the recordings.Previously, we had links to all recordings in the reports, which is no longer the case. We had a tool that retrieved all this information, but it is now useless.

On the 3CX interface, it is no longer possible to listen to the recordings without downloading them, and we also no longer have the duration of the recordings. This was useful to determine if a call needed to be listened to or not.

Is it possible to revert to version 18, or is there a setting that could allow me to regain these functions?

I suspect future versions of 3CX V20 will incorporate additional features based on user feedback. Talk to your 3CX rep about reverting back to an older version of 3CX, but be aware that you will need to return to V20 before the end of the year.

You may also want to take a look at our 3CX Recording Manager tool. In about a week, maybe two, we will be releasing an entirely revamped version. We already provide the duration and the ability to play recordings without downloading the recording, but in the new version you will be able to see a graphical representation of the audio.

Further, we are adding amazing new OpenAI features to allow you to analyze your recordings automatically. For example, we can summarize the recording, identify action items, key points, appointments, agent scoring, sentiment, and anything else you want to ask about your recordings -- all automatically (or on-demand). If you have not already experienced OpenAI, this will blow your mind. This is one of the rare cases where the hype matches reality.

If you would like a sneak peak of the new version, DM me and I'll setup a web demo for you.
