When considering a new phone for use with 3CX, what advantage would a 4 SIP line phone have over a 1 SIP line phone?

You can register multiple extensions so in an office situation, using a PBX, you could answer your desk-mates line while putting your line on hold (if you are on a call).

Most sets will allow you to register each line key with a different provider, so you could have key 1 as a PBX extension and other keys registered directly to different VoIP providers.

You can have the same extension registered to multiple keys allowing you to receive more than one call after putting the current caller on hold. This sort of set-up works well for a receptionist set.
