First, I am new to 3CX and have been AMAZED at how user-friendly the system is and how many options it has. I tested the Sip for Skype which was so easy. I would prefer to use the SIP Trunk since I plan on moving the installation to my Amazon cloud servers, but I am waiting on Skype to get a better pricing model. I dropped it since I do not like the pay-per-minute model they have at the moment, so I changed to the Gateway for Skype.
Setup was straight forward and working fine, but I do have a question. I have 4 ports setup. One is the "master" which has my SkypeIn number attached to it. I then have 3 ports setup using a different log in that has my SkypeOut subscription tied to it. To clarify, I have 3 ports (outbound) all using one skype Id. This seems to be working, however the directions specifically say to create multiple users. Since Skype allows multiple calls per login (I think it's up to 8), why shouldn't I keep it this way?
Is there a technical reason for using different skype accounts for each port?
