Multiple VOIP providers on a single network (Ubiquity and 3CX with Yealink)

I apologize for bloating the forums as a new member, but I have 1 last question that is more important than both of my previous.

I foolishly ordered only Ubiquity talk phones with the plan of setting up an actual PBX later, so that the staff of the small business I'm setting up for can test firsthand and see which they prefer.

I'm curious if it's possible to setup the 3CX PBX alongside Ubiquity's Talk platform side by side.

Primarily I'd like their one landline number to ring in and out of both systems, and if I can setup transferring and hard phone to hard phone calls, those are the most important features.

This businesses needs are very minimal, with voicemail and on-hold music coming in as the next priorities.

You can probably set up that side by side but why even? Ubiquiti phones won't work with 3CX, or at least not completely.

You'd be better sticking to one or the other, not both.

The business I'm setting this system up for has, in the past, been able to find a complaint about almost every piece of technology in their operation at one point or another. I wanted to setup 2-3 different hardphones so that they can experience using each one and make a decision based on real-life testing.

I'm doing the same thing with their surveillance system, running Ubiquity's Protect and Milestone's VMS (2 cameras each) in the same building so that they can play with the UI/UX. Once they decide which they prefer, I'll order the rest of the cameras.

If down the road they find themselves unhappy, they'll recall that I gave them multiple options and they were the ones who chose.

In this case, create two VLANs and put the 3CX in the Cloud since having 2 PBXs using the same ports locally isn't good.

To be honest, that sounds like a PITA customer lol

Their last IT guy seems to have more or less said he "has a lot of other clients he's very busy with and probably won't have time to support them moving forward" *yikes gif*

Some clients just aren't worth it unless you charge them double.
