Hi
I have a question, my customer has a request.
They would like to change them extension's "Outbound Caller ID "-'s manually.
This extension are members of queue groups, they have to make outbound calls, and they would like to send different called id each call. they would like to change it by operators.

thanks

You don't need to do this manually if operators keep same caller id all the time.

if you use DID for each operator , you can set in extension the caller number sent, you need to remove global setting in trunk for caller ID otherwise it's always this unique CallerID which is sent.

you may also have restrictions from your SIP provider if number sent are not from your provider

my agents make calls by other themes and the called person can see the number which is connecting that theme.
clip 420 123450 air conditionong margeking
clip 420 123451 socks
etc.

is the same operator always using same number or you want to change phone number sent at each call?

no, they would like to use another clip each of call.
If he makes a call when he tries to sell an air condition, he wants to send clip 420 123450 , and when tries to sell sock he wants to send clip 420 123451 .

how much different number needed 2? more?

if only 2 , then may be you can set 2 different extensions on phones with each number on it, when you call with line 1 then first number, with line 2 second number

I do not know the exact number, I think 4-5 numbers pro extensions. there is 100 extensions.
hotdesking?

they now use a Panasonic system.

So this is not the way for so many extensions.
wait for another member with other idea if there's one for your case with 3CX.

thanks,

thanks,

I think "hot desking" will be the solve.

Check out voiptools.com, they have an app that allows people to change their callerID

thanks,
So, I think there isn't a correct solution. We have some solutions whose are only bypassing the problem.
