Hi,

I am testing the CRM API with a PostgreSQL DB. It is working so far.
But if I change the name of an entry in the DB (ID and phonenumber stays the same), then the old entry stays in the company phone book and an additional entry is created. Shouldn't it update the existing one?

How is the contact URL generated? That's what 3CX uses to identify unique records.

Ok, I see. Did not knew that I need the contact URL altough I do not show it at the client.
Now I did configure it again like it is in the example.
Contact URL Prefix: https://mycrmurl/contacts/
Contact URL Suffix: /show

There is no duplicate created now, but a change of the lastname in the DB is not reflected in the phonebook. It stays like it was on first call altough Query CRM is set to always.

Edit: Now it did change the name after the 5th try. Is there a changing rate limit or something like that?

There is a 10 minutes cache. So if you make many calls from the same number in less than 10 minutes, only the first will trigger the lookup against the CRM, the rest will get the details from cache. After 10 minutes, the CRM will be queried again.

Perfect. Good to know.
Thank you very much.
