I don't think you understand how cumbersome the chrome extension vs stand alone client can be. You can improve the app all you want but Google Chrome is not an option when you have a user that has 10 - 40 tabs open and memory and cpu resources are already getting pushed to the limit. Chrome is not perfect, it crashes. There are other plugins that interfere. Users don't need to worry about plugins or permissions in a web browser to make a phone call. The chrome extension is a "neat" feature rather than a "reliable, usable" one for majority of our clients and feedback has been dismal. It is essential to have a supporting native client for both Windows & Mac. I can't stress this enough. You have to start with the customer experience and work backwards to the technology. Others are having issues too, just listen.Hello @magicpbx ,
Thank you for your feedback.
Our teams are working toward improving and incorporating more functionality to Chrome Extension. We can definitely understand that users are used with Mac Clients, but if we all give our input on improving the Chrome Extension, then we might get into position of having an even stronger client than Mac Client.
Please feel free to give us your input on the ideas section and more specifically on Browser Extension and get back to us with more specific cases that Chrome Extension might be problematic.
Thank you.
I wouldn't count on that. Even if 3CX does a Safari extension, Apple will probably never approve it because it's VoIP and they are too concern with your "privacy" to allow 3rd parties to have that kind of extensions. Also, Safari doesn't have all the APIs that Chrome has. Apple are still missing tons of APIs, again because of concern for "privacy". (Who do they think they're kidding? But anyway.)There is a new Safari to be release with Big Sur, I suggest 3CX developers get on it and make 3CX work. Apple is now supporting more plugins on the new Safari. 3CX can't alienate 3CX users from Apple by removing the native app and the WebRTC supported with Safari.

Just use Edge on Mac, much better than Chrome to be honest.
Founded in 2005, when VoIP was an emerging technology, 3CX has gone on to establish itself as a global leader in business communications.
