Hi,

I need to be able to send calls to 3cx park from an external phone system connected to us VIA a Patton SN4141 (trinity) we have no access to this system, but they cannot send any special codes like # or * as it activates their own system. they can only transfer to digits.

So easy enough right, set up serveral dummy extensions, and on unregisterd transfer calls to external number *01,*02,*03 etc... right? wrong transfer failed

Does anyone have any ideas, we thought about using the call flow designer, transfer the call by digits only to an IVR, that then does a scipt asking what park spot to enter?

And we also wonder if there is any way the Patton can see a string of numbers and translate it to *01, *02 etc.

Thoughts?

Hi,

We dug into call flow designer a tbit more and found it is exactly what we need, we set up 4 one for each parking spot we want to use. and then the ATA line just dials the 4 digit extension for the call flow, and off we go. what we did not see anywhere is that transfer to needs to be in quotes "SP1" "SP2" not SP1, SP2, *01, *02 I think that could be better documented.

Just for your information, it is well documented in the CallControlAPI.
It is possible that you skimmed through the guide too quickly.

There are plenty of examples, such as this one:

I cannot agree with your remark.

Thank you anyway.
It's fine if you don't want to agree, but you post an image that has nothing to do with what I am asking and a link to an outbound dialer, when I am looking for an inbound rule why would I look in that document?
