Need suggestions for wireless headset - Yealink T46S

Our receptionist needs a wireless headset. Previously he's used a Sennheiser Officerunner, but we've gone through 3 of those because of the battery life degradation. He wants it to have one earpiece - not the over the head style headset. We also do not want to use a physical hook switch, but we have the Yealink EHS 36 as well as the Y cable if necessary. His phone also has the Yealink EXP40 attached to it.

I know it's a very specific situation, I apologize. We've tried the Jabra VXi V300 and just found out according to their technical support that it needs a physical hook lift (even though there is an EHS port?).

So all of you that use Yealink T46 phones, what wireless headset works best for you?

I'm a big fan of the Sennheiser D10 Pro. It's inexpensive, DECT, and when used with the Yealink EHS36 it is perfectly paired.

According to this website it requires the handset lifter, am I mistaken?

I've never had to use the lifter. Mind you, that's on a T29G but I can't imagine that the T46 would be any different.

The website I linked earlier does say yours is compatible with the EHS cable but mine would need the lifter. Just in case, I'd rather not go through buying and returning another one. Thank you for your input though
