Hi, I'm waiting for some numbers to be ported over to my SIP provider but would like to present these numbers on outbound calls on a per extension basis.

I can make outbound calls but can only present numbers associated with the SIP trunk. The SIP provider allows me to present non associated numbers but I can't get it to work and just get an error message.

Anyone got any pointers where I'm going wrong ?

Thanks

What SIP Provider are you using, is it a 3CX Supported one?

Also, what error are you receiving and where do you see it in the Management Console? If the error message is being sent by the provider then you might need to reach out to them first. They may offer this capability as a service meaning you might need to ask them to enable it for you.

I'm using BT HSIPT, I know they definitely support this as I've got it working on other PBX's. It's 100% enabled on their portal

I'll check the errors in the management portal

Normally the outbound caller ID set against each extension will be sent. If you have set the "main" number in the outbound rules, then that may be overridden. There are also a few caller ID options, in the trunks outbound settings, that will determine from where caller ID is taken. You might have a look at those.

Make note of the current settings before you change anything, as the wrong parameter can result in all outbound calls being blocked.

ALL SORTED

I've managed to work it out ! ! !
