need to subscribe to elastic IP ?

Hello 3cx team, I am setting up a new 3cx PBX with AWS ec2 micro. Sydney.
my question is am I still need to subscribe to elastic IP ? is there any advantage with 3cx PBX? or just keep by default IP?

Regarding your question and an elastic IP with AWS, with 3cx systems, this is always best practice as mentioned here:https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/installing-debian-linux-pbx/

• The PBX needs to be configured with a dedicated public IP.
